Register Now-PEER Bhutan Symposium 2023

RSPN Bhutan and Bhutan Foundation are organizing a Partnership for Enhanced Engagement in Research(#PEER) Bhutan symposium on September 13-14, 2023. The symposium will be held at the RSPN Head Office, Lhado Lam, Kawajangsa, Thimphu. The event will be graced by His Excellency Lyonpo Yeshey Penjor, Minister for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.

The symposium aims to provide a platform for engagement, discussions, knowledge exchange, and networking among professionals/researchers for future collaboration in Research and Development in Bhutan. It is also the closing activity for the six researchers who have researched various fields for the last one and a half years with the support of the PEER Program of the National Academies of Sciences Engineering and Medicine(NASEM), USA.

The symposium will present multidisciplinary topics such as Biodiversity, Water, Climate change, Agriculture, and Health. Altogether, the event will feature keynote presentations by distinguished speakers from the United States Agency for International Development(USAID), NASEM, National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA), and six thought-provoking research findings by Bhutanese researchers and scholars.
