REDD+ capacity building work shop ends today

Three days REDD+ knowledge sharing workshop ends successfully today at Bajo Wangdue. The workshop was organized with an objective to enhance and promote REDD+ knowledge among diverse stakeholders (Zhemgang Dzongkhag, Local government, Zhemgang Forest Division, Tourism Council of Bhutan, Department of Culture, Social Forestry and Extension Division, Forest Resource and Management Division, Nature Conservation Divison and Association of Bhutanese Tour Opperators )and importantly the project beneficiary from from Buli, Zhemgang. Watershed Management Division (WMD) under Department of Forest and Park Services (DoFPs) is currently preparing REDD+ strategy in country. The capacity building project is supported by FCPF, World Bank.
