Black-necked Cranes migrate to their summer habitat

Black-necked Cranes (BNCs) have started migrating back to its summer habitat in Tibet, China.

First observation: About 45 BNCs were seen flying on 18 February 2016.

21 February 2016: more than 100 BNCs
22 February 2016: about 90 BNCs
25 February 2016: about 75 BNCs
2 March 2016: about 55 BNCS

As of 3 March 2016, we counted 81 Black-necked Cranes. By mid or late March cranes would usually fly back to Tibet.
