Post Title: Gender Expert

Timeframe: Approximately 144 days spread across next two years (expected to start from January 2013)

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.  In coordination with the International Team Leader, design a methodology for the gender review and present it to the National Implementing Agency and incorporate the feedback and suggestions.

2.  Undertake literature review, conduct interviews and interactions

3.  Prepare gender review portion of draft and final reports

4.  Plan and implement the National knowledge sharing workshop, including planning the workshop, identifying participants, designing the workshop, conducting sessions and reporting on the workshop.

Minimum Qualification:

Masters Degree social sciences/ public administration/ gender related studies or proven experience in execution of gender project and research studies. He/she should have significant prior experience in providing technical support to mainstreaming gender, developing gender research methodologies and applying them to field situations, training field researchers, research on gender and energy-environment issues.
